The 2016 Sydney Sailboat Expo will be held on the 9-10th April 2016 (10am to 4pm) at the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) in Manly. The 2016 Expo has something for everyone and MySailing.com.au is pleased to be a media partner for the event.
The Sydney Sailboat Expo showcases the best in sailing from dinghies, skiffs, multihulls through to larger trailerable classes plus a large range of sailing products. There’s also plenty for those wanting to learn including a seminar on the Racing Rules of Sailing, Liros Ropes are back with their Splicing Workshop and North Sails are running a Sail Trim masterclass. On top of this Yachting Australia recently announced they’re running the following courses during the Expo:
- myCentre Training: For any accredited Discover Sailing Centres, training on the new myCentre system will be available at the Sydney Sailboat Expo on Saturday April 9.
- Yachting Australia Race Officers Course – Club Race Official: The Yachting Australia Race Officer Seminar is a half day seminar for aspiring Club Race Officials.
- Yachting Australia Judges Course – Club Judge: The Yachting Australia Judges Seminar is a half day seminar for Club level judging.
Sydney Sailboat Expo is still accepting exhibitor applications, but spaces are limited. If you’re a supplier to the industry and you haven’t already signed up, give them a call. If you are part of a club, sailing association or class then talk with your organisers because this is a great opportunity to showcase your boats and invite new competitors to join you.
2016 will see a number of new exhibitors joining the list including: Contender/Selden for Sailing, Goodall Designs, OneSails, Roads and Maritime Services, 13 and 16 Foot Skiffs, Crewsaver Australia and more.
