Nice place for a beer – Hamilton Princess & Beach Club named official hotel of the America's Cup

The America’s Cup is delighted to partner with Bermuda’s iconic Hamilton Princess & Beach Club as the Official Hotel of the 35th America’s Cup.

The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club – the “Grand Dame of Bermuda” – recently celebrated its 130th birthday and is a premier destination on the island.

The hotel has recently undergone a $100 million renovation resulting in the premier luxury hotel in Bermuda. Renovations include an upgrade to guest rooms, the launch of three new restaurants and the creation of a Beach Club and marina. For a look at the updated Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, click here.

Located on Hamilton Harbor with a stunning waterfront view and easy access to shopping and restaurants, the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club is ideal for visitors to the island.

“Hosting the America’s Cup is a tremendous opportunity for Bermuda and being named the official hotel of this prestigious event is very exciting for the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club,” said Allan Federer, general manager at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club. “We look forward to hosting dignitaries in our newly designed rooms and key events for America’s Cup spectators in our state-of-the-art event space, restaurants and marina.”

The 35th America’s Cup is now underway with racing in the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series in Portsmouth this past weekend marking the opening event.

Racing comes to Bermuda in October, with the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series Bermuda, October 16-18, 2015.
