The furthest Graham Collins sails his boat is along the coast of Nova Scotia, so the Haligonian was stunned when he got a call from the U.S. Coast Guard on Friday, asking if he was sailing through the eye of Hurricane Larry.
“They told me that my personal locator beacon had been activated and was showing a position in the middle of hurricane Larry,” Collins said in an interview Sunday.
