The Sly 43 makes Australian debut in Sydney

Sly Yachts is celebrating the beginning of its collaboration with Vicsail with its 43 combining Italian comfort and design.

The production process enables the Sly 43 to have a light displacement that maximises load-resistance. The design, with contibution from Nauta Yachts, is to ensure a stylish interior. Every detail has been studied to create its comfortable and functional space.

The Sly 43 has a large cockpit allowing for outdoor living and for working with a full crew when racing. The open transom allows easy cockpit access and fast drainage for those long glides at high speed.

To improve the sheeting angle the Jib travellers are installed on the coach roof. Multiple hatches allow for optimum ventilation.

The Sly 43 hull and deck are a construction of E-glass laminates sandwiching a PVC foam core infused by epoxy vinylester resin. The reinforcement carbon grid is vacuum-bagged and laminated to the hull. The result is light displacement with stiffness and torsional resistance. Efficient appendages complete the design and contribute to the overall performance.
