Youth Sailors Invited to ISAF Sailing World Cup in Melbourne

Sail Melbourne has announced the inclusion of seven invited classes in the 2010 ISAF Sailing World Cup which will be held at Sandringham Yacht Club from December 14 – 19, 2009. Described as “an exciting opportunity for young sailors to compete against the world's best”, sailors will also be able to access excellent facilities, programs and coaches.
 
Competing classes are:
Invited Classes – 29er, 420, Laser 4.7, International Cadet, International Optimist, RS:X Youth, Hobie 16
Olympic Classes – 470 men, 470 women, Finn, 49er, Star, RS:X men, RS:X women, Laser Standard, Laser Radial, Women's Match Racing
Paralympic Classes – Skud 18, 2.4m, Sonar
 
Online registration is required for both competitors and coaches, and will be available on the Sail Melbourne website, www.sailmelbourne.com.au soon.
