A yachting contest is paying tribute to one of New Zealand's greatest sailors and sporting heroes – Sir Peter Blake.
Ten teams will battle it out in The Great Blake Race on Waitemata Harbour. All funds raised will go to the Sir Peter Blake Trust for future Young Blake environmental expeditions.
Entries are now open for The Great Blake Race on November 6. Anyone can enter, regardless of experience, as each team of three will be paired with a coach and world-class skipper aboard their Elliott 7 sailing craft.
