Simrad has introduced two new autopilots, the AP24 and AP28. Easy to use features include programmable, integrated turn patterns, such as S-turns or zig-zags; contour or water depth steering; no-drift and advanced wind steering to keep you on course regardless of winds or current; and integrated steering algorithms which permit full rate of turn control for smooth and precise turns in all conditions together with improved tack and gybe performance on sailboats.
The AP24 is designed for boats up to 80ft, while the AP28 is suitable for larger vessels.
