Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, held from 26 September to 4 October 2026, concluded with an exciting finale under brilliant sunshine and a steady breeze. The final race saw intense competition across 20 categories, culminating in celebrations for the Rolex Trophy and Maxi prize-giving.
Olympian emerged as the standout winner of the Rolex Trophy, showcasing its prowess against fierce rivals like Chips. Despite a penalty in the first race, Olympian secured crucial victories to clinch the title, with crew member Philippe Oddo highlighting the intense rivalry and camaraderie within the P Classes.
In the Traditional yachts category, Elena of London triumphed after a thrilling match race against Lelantina and Sumurun. In the Grand Tradition category, Tuiga’s strategic sailing led to victory, while Kismet dominated among the Epoque Gaffers.
The Maxi yachts saw Jethou win the Edmond de Rothschild Trophy, consistently performing well throughout the week. In the J Class, Svea showcased superior sailing skills, winning three of six races and ultimately securing the Corinthian Kings Cup.
In the Modern yachts category, Spirit of Lorina clinched the BMW Trophy, proving its strong performance with multiple race wins. The event also celebrated the Comité International de la Méditerranée’s 100th anniversary, awarding trophies across various categories.
As the event wrapped up, sailors and spectators alike reflected on a week filled with passion, competition, and the rich tradition of yachting. Plans are already in motion for the next edition in 2027, promising even more excitement.
