Tuuci strikes gold at M32 winter series

MIAMI (Feb. 8, 2026) — TUUCI Racing secured victory in the M32 Miami Winter Series Event No. 2, winning the first three races on the final day, clinching the regatta before the last race was even sailed.

Driver Cy Thompson, tactician Lucas Calabrese, John Wallace, C.T. Olander, and Charlie McHugh displayed consistent performance across three days on Biscayne Bay. The event featured optimal sailing conditions with winds ranging from 15-20 knots over brilliant turquoise waters, providing participants with classic, picture-perfect conditions.

Dougan Clarke, founder of TUUCI, expressed pride in the team’s performance, attributing their success to teamwork, resilience, and respect for the elements. He stated, “Watching them perform together, harnessing the wind, is incredibly special.”
The win was a continuation of TUUCI’s strong performance following their victory in the M32 North American Championship the previous season.

C.T. Olander, the team manager, shared that their focus and time on the water contributed significantly to their success. He mentioned their aim to continue building towards the 2026 World Championship in Newport.

The social side of the regatta was equally vibrant, with TUUCI’s hospitality setup facilitating social gatherings among sailors after racing.

Other teams also exhibited competitive spirit, with second place going to Miles Julien’s YoungBlood, and Ryan McKillen’s Surge securing third. The depth of the fleet was highlighted as seven out of eight teams won races during the weekend.

The upcoming Miami Winter Series will continue with events on March 13-15 and April 17-19, before the fleet heads north to Newport for a season packed with racing events.
