The 2026 TF35 Trophy season will begin on May 15 at the Société Nautique de Nyon and conclude on October 4 at the Société Nautique de Genève. This year, seven elite crews will compete across seven events: five Grand Prix regattas and two long-distance races. The season kicks off with the Nyon Grand Prix (May 15–17) and continues with the Mies Grand Prix (May 29–31), followed by two Lake Geneva classics: the Genève-Rolle-Genève (May 30) and the Bol d’Or du Léman (June 6). After a summer break, racing resumes with the Mailly Grand Prix (August 27–30) and a new event, the Versoix Grand Prix (September 11–13), before culminating in the Geneva Grand Prix (October 2–4).
With a mix of returning and new teams, the competition will be intense. Teams have made strategic adjustments, with returning crews aiming to dethrone the double defending champion, Sails of Change 8.
**Realteam Spirit** returns after a focused season on winning the Bol d’Or du Léman, having retained most of its crew with only Matthieu Sistek joining the team. Helm Jérôme Clerc noted the evolution in sailing techniques and the need to catch up with rivals while also expressing confidence in their new addition’s energy and experience.
**Sails of Change 8**, led by Yann Guichard, aims for a historic third consecutive title. The team has welcomed Billy Besson and Matthieu Ravussin to replace François and Bruno in their respective roles. Tactician Noé Delpech reassured that the transition has been smooth, maintaining the team’s strong consistency.
**Sails of Change 10** seeks to build on its third-place finish from 2025. Duncan Späth’s crew remains unchanged, with the focus on leveraging their previous success to improve further.
**X-WING** has also opted for stability, retaining its entire crew after a promising season in 2025. Marco Favale’s decision reflects confidence in their established synergy.
For **Ylliam XII – Comptoir Immobilier**, a few role changes and the introduction of Morgan Lauber are expected to enhance the team’s dynamics. Bertrand Demole leads a core team built around brothers Jérémy and Maxime Bachelin.
**Ylliam 17**, helmed by Julien Firmenich, has introduced top Swiss talent Arnaud Psarofaghis and Bryan Mettraux to strengthen its lineup after finishing as runners-up in 2025. Tactician Guillaume Rol expressed optimism about their performance potential.
Finally, **ZEN Too** will see the return of Devan Le Bihan and Louis Chambet, aiming to improve on their near-podium finish from the previous season.
As the 2026 season approaches, the anticipation is palpable, with teams eager to show their competitiveness and adaptability. The season promises thrilling races, particularly in the long-distance events, which have seen varied winners since the championship commenced.
