Special screening of the movie Morning Light at MHYC.

A special screening of the much talked about sailing film Morning Light will be held at Middle Harbour Yacht Club this Friday, 18th September 2009.

Through the magic of Disney, this is the inspiring true-life story of 15 young aspiring sailors taking on one of the most revered yacht races in the world – the 'Transpac'.

An added bonus for Aussies is the starring role of MHYC's very own native and dinghy sailing champion, Jeremy Wilmot. Both his sisters will be at the screening to see their brother on film.

In addition to the feature film, the initial selection process of the lucky top 15 will also be shown.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards the MHYC Junior Centreboard Division… where many of the audience would have started their sailing adventures!

Tickets are only $10 at the door, $5 for children 12yrs and under. Food and beverages will be available with family meal deals on offer. Screening commences at 6.30pm, firstly with the selection process, followed by the feature film. Bring the kids along and introduce them to the wonderful world of the water!
