Over 200 entries for Sail Sydney and now late fee has been waived

Sail Sydney is back as a major regatta on the off-the-beach calendar, with local and interstate sailors using it as a warm-up for their class nationals. Below is vital information for competitors and supporters.

Course areas will be finalised the this week so remember to check the Notice of Race re minimum number of entries required for each class. Download the NOR.

As you would know, logistics at any regatta can be an issue. Please familiarise yourself with the traffic plan (Click here for Traffic Plan) so when you arrive at the club you are well briefed.

Temporary changes to traffic conditions will be in place to assist with arrivals and departures from the club. If arriving by road, ONE WAY traffic conditions will be in place. ENTRY is ONLY via Vickery Avenue for regatta traffic. The intersection of Sunderland Avenue and New Beach Road is EXIT ONLY for regatta traffic.

If you intend to arrive at the club earlier than Wednesday 16th, please contact the club on 9371 9805.

In order to ease the flow of traffic in and around the club, specific rigging areas have been allocated for each class. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with traffic management and will be identifiable by yellow hi-visibility vests.

All coach and spectator boats are required to register. Register online here CLICK HERE and then check in at the regatta office when you arrive. You will be given a numbered vessel identification flag that must be displayed at all times when afloat. Please ensure that you have a VHF radio on your boat.

If you can help in way during the regatta with roles such as traffic or ramp management, please go online and volunteer – Click Here To Volunteer.
