Australian Superyacht Conference expands to two days in Sydney for 2027

Following a sold-out debut that attracted 100 delegates from 14 countries, the Australian Superyacht Conference will return to Sydney on 1–2 March 2027 with an expanded programme and an on-water experience on Sydney Harbour.

Superyacht Australia has confirmed that the Australian Superyacht Conference will return to Sydney in 2027, expanding from one day to two following the success of its inaugural event earlier this year.

The conference will again be held at REVY, Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf in Pyrmont, overlooking Sydney Harbour, on Monday 1 and Tuesday 2 March 2027.

The first Sydney conference, held in February 2026, sold out with 100 delegates representing 14 countries, including New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom and Germany.

According to organisers, feedback from delegates, speakers and sponsors was overwhelmingly positive, with particular praise for the relevance of the programme, quality of discussions and focus on the future of the superyacht industry.

Mike Sager, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Ankor Software, described the inaugural event as a refreshing experience.

“The Australian Superyacht Conference was the best show I’ve been to in 5 years. No politics, relevant topics, taking the industry forward, extremely refreshing,” Sager said.

More time for discussion and networking

The expanded 2027 programme will bring together representatives from across Australia’s superyacht sector and the wider international industry.

Attendees are expected to include yacht builders, refit and repair yards, marinas, ports and destination managers, captains, crew, yacht managers, charter operators, brokers, suppliers and service providers.

Flag registries, legal and tax advisers, compliance specialists, government representatives, tourism organisations and industry bodies will also be represented.

David Good, Chief Executive Officer of Superyacht Australia, said the strong response to the first Sydney conference demonstrated the demand for a dedicated industry forum.

“The response to our inaugural Sydney conference was extraordinary. To sell out in our debut year, with delegates travelling from 14 countries, shows just how much appetite there is for a dedicated forum on Australia’s superyacht industry,” Good said.

“We listened closely to the feedback from 2026, and the message was clear: people wanted more time together.

“Expanding to two days gives us room for deeper discussion, more networking and the chance to showcase Sydney Harbour itself, including an on-water experience. We look forward to welcoming the industry back to Sydney in March 2027.”

Sydney Harbour excursion added to the programme

The 2027 conference will feature sessions exploring the trends, opportunities and challenges facing the Australian and international superyacht sectors.

Day one, Monday 1 March, will begin with conference sessions before delegates head onto Sydney Harbour for an on-water excursion.

Tuesday 2 March will feature a full day of conference presentations and discussions, concluding with post-conference drinks.

The additional day is intended to provide more opportunities for industry connections, collaboration and discussion.

Speakers and sponsors will be announced in the coming weeks.
