Luna Rossa have reportedly secured Jimmy Spithill for the next America’s Cup.
The tough nationality rules allow Australian Spithill to sail under the Italian flag again as he was part of their team at the last regatta at Auckland 2021.
Well-informed Italian yachting journalist Gian Luca Pasini reported for La Gazetta that the Luna Rossa designers have been busy since they lost The Match 7-3 to Team New Zealand in a highly competitive Cup final.
