The final race scheduled for Saturday was cancelled due to the complete absence of wind, leading to the final standings being based on the ten completed races out of the eleven originally planned. The race committee confirmed the results based on this format.
Majdalani-Bosco maintained their lead during Friday’s penultimate day, achieving a scoreline of 3-1-1-3, including two consecutive victories in races eight and nine. This performance allowed them to reclaim the lead in the provisional standings. Meanwhile, Järudd-Jonsson’s performance included a disappointing 2-3-5-5 scoreline, costing them the lead but finishing just one point behind the Argentinians.
The fight for third place also concluded, with Wilkinson-Stewart taking the final podium position on 51 points, ahead of Sweden’s Ida Svensson and Marcus Dackhammar, who finished fourth with 56 points. The competition for bronze remained tight until the final stages of the regatta.
