Hosted by Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club this weekend (19 – 20 July 2025), the Mick Hole Regatta is an exciting weekend series of racing for one-design keelboats and sportsboat classes. The regatta is open to Etchells, 5.5 metre’s, 11 metre one-design’s, Elliott 7’s, Sports Boats and yachts. Other classes are also welcome, including a few of us in our VX Ones.
Racing will be on a windward/leeward courses held over two days. Yachts are welcome to participate that are not a one design class.
We sail this weekend in honour of a very special bloke, whose memory is a reminder to all present and future members of what RPAYC is really all about! The world would be a much better place with a few more Micks!
Vakaros are proudly supporting the Regatta. All Etchells and VxOne’s will use the Vakaros race management system. Boats with existing Vakros units are requested to email the RPAYC Sailing Office with the unit’s serial number. Boats that don’t own a unit can collect on at the race briefing on Saturday.
