The second day of the 2026 ILCA 6 Masters World Championship delivered another two races in classic Athens sea-breeze conditions, allowing the fleet to complete four races in total and further shape the leaderboard across all divisions. Australian sailors are doing well, leading in 4 of the divisions at this stage.
Racing got underway on schedule with a southerly breeze of 6–8 knots from 165–175 degrees for the first race. As the afternoon progressed, the wind steadily increased to 11–13 knots from the same direction, providing a more demanding test for the competitors. Moderate sea conditions and a reliable breeze enabled the race committee to complete both races without delay.
