November issue of Australian Sailing on sale now

The November issue of Sailing concentrates on… sails! A major feature by editor-at-large Bob Ross tells you everything you need to know about sailcloth, including North's new 3Di, as well as all the movers and shakers among the various lofts.

You can also read part two of the special feature on Future Champions, where we look at the elite programs of GBR, NZL and AUS in the lead-up to London 2012.

There are stories on the Race Around Australia, how Next Factor won the Siska Trophy in WA and an invitation to the Bay of Islands Sailing Week in New Zealand.

In our regular features, David Dellenbaugh offers valuable pointers on rounding marks, Tony Bull shows how to fine tune your steering and Andrew Verdon writes about what to eat before racing.

There are three pages of new products, two pages of boats for sale and the complete program for the upcoming Sandringham Boat Show.

You can't miss the issue at the news stand – as you can see here, the dramatic shot on the cover is of Wild Oats bowman, Tim Weisman, copping a spray of water in the face. However, the best way to ensure you get all the news and information each issue covers is to subscribe for 12 or 24 months. Subscriptions details are in the magazine – call 1800 807 760, email subscriptions@yaffa.com.au or go to www.yaffa.com.au.
