North South Yachting Brokerage exposure – Sydney International Boat Show 2009

NSY are once again able to offer potential Vendors marketing exposure at the Sydney show via their brokerage display. Set to run for 5 days from Thursday 30th July, NSY would be delighted to discuss the advantage of a listing with any owners, whether looking to upgrade or move away from the sailing scene. Listing deadline is Friday 24th July.

Are you distanced from a networked office? No problem!

While NSY's 8 networked sales offices across the country offer coverage, many owners berth their yachts in tranquil locations outside the hustle of the major capitals where NSY are not able to conduct viewings. However, the company is always delighted to discuss preferential rates for Vendors who would like to be able to take advantage of NSY's marketing expertise, and have the potential to conduct viewings with customers themselves.

NSY offer on-line coverage and database marketing of all listings. Drawing on their association with Bavaria and X-Yachts, 2 of Europe's leading production manufacturers, they not only market to a brokerage database but also provide their Vendors with interest emanating from new yacht enquiries, with an established range starting at an entry level Bavaria 31 at $188,593 and rising to a flagship X-65 in excess of $4,000,000.

Sales berths in Pittwater

In conjunction with Quays marina, NSY are able to offer a limited number of Sales moorings at competitive rates for any interested Vendors who feel their yacht would benefit from being in one of Sydney's prime sales locations. All moorings are located within 200 meters of the marina, and offer a fully tendered service to allow you to use and maintain your yacht during the sales process.

Current demand

A slow start to 2009 has given way to a very active market meaning demand is now outstripping supply. As NSY continue to talk to the high number of leads obtained from the Sanctuary Cove Show, a steady stream of parties come into a financial position to develop a purchase. The company suggests that demand is particularly high for modern 36-40ft yachts, with owner layouts and set up for comfortable short-handed sailing.

NSY will discuss any aspects of these brokerage services – please contact their National Brokerage Manager Tom Edgington on 02 9998 9600 or e-mail tom@northsouthyachting.com.au
