New NEEL 45 Syndicate based in Queensland announced

Neel 45

Multihull Solutions in conjunction with Yachtshare has announced a new syndicate opportunity of a new NEEL 45 cruising trimaran based in Queensland. The syndicate gives cruising enthusiasts the chance to own a share of “one of the world’s most acclaimed and innovative multihulls” for a fraction of full private ownership.

With the ten shares priced at AUD$99,000 each, the syndicate is expected to be filled quickly with owners able to enjoy 33 days of cruising each year on the Queensland coast.

As part of the syndicate package, the NEEL 45 is fully maintained by professional syndicate management company, Yachtshare, for realistic monthly fees. The Yachtshare team manages everything from the mechanical servicing, berthing arrangements, regular cleaning, and provisioning services, so owners can enjoy a compete “walk-on walk-off” experience.

The NEEL 45 is a multi award-winning trimaran that Multihull Solutions says offers “outstanding performance, comfort and innovation”.  The multihull averages a comfortable 10 knots while cruising with the ability to reach speeds in excess of 15 knots easily.

The syndicate NEEL 45 is a brand new 2015 Owner's version with three cabins and two bathrooms and is comprehensively equipped for coastal cruising.  The trimaran will be based on Moreton Bay to take advantage of the region’s ideal year-round conditions and abundance of touring destinations along Queensland’s Coral Coast.

Multihull Solutions says the trimaran “sets new standards in high performance, live-aboard innovation with excellent use of space and light, a modern design, a loft look and generous storage areas”. The NEEL 45 has a high level of privacy in its cabins, as well as independence for owner and crew who have well-separated accommodation.

The boat features a layout that distinguishes it from traditional trimarans.  Its two wings are connected by the living area, which accommodates the galley, saloon and cockpit. Designed with an emphasis on innovation to improve overall performance, the reversed bows reduce pitching and maximise the trimaran’s waterline length.

The width of NEEL trimarans is an important safety factor in high seas and the PVC foam sandwich construction and anti-collision partitions makes the NEEL trimaran range unsinkable. A fin has been moulded into her centre hull to protects the rudder and the propeller, and this enables the NEEL 45 to sail directly onto a ramp or a beach and explore shallow waters or take refuge in shallow bays in inclement weather conditions.

Winches and stoppers for manoeuvring the sails are also fitted inside, so the crew is completely protected in strong winds and this innovative feature is extremely convenient for night sailing.
