This event marked a significant milestone as it was held at a brand-new location on the GKA Kite World Tour, bringing together 24 men and 12 women competitors vying for the prestigious World Title.

The event was notable for featuring the highest prize purse ever in Big Air competition, totalling €70,000. This amount included €30,000 from title sponsor Capital.com and the GKA, complemented by an impressive €40,000 contributed by the Mykonos Gang.
