Malcesine (Garda Lake), November 22, 2025 – 69F Sailing has announced the introduction of the 69F Formula, an economically advantageous proposal that aims to ensure broad participation in the 2026 69F Cup. Following the anticipated announcement of a new major sponsor, this initiative is designed to enhance accessibility for a diverse range of participants.
The 69F foiling boat, known for its impressive speed and performance, was created with user-friendliness in mind, allowing even those without specific experience to enjoy foiling. Its design minimizes the risk of nose-diving, making it a safer and more fun option that still retains the technical complexity needed for competitive sailing. Teams participating in the 2026 circuit will benefit from a full boat charter with sails, entry fees covered for all events, technical assistance, and unlimited training sessions from April to October.
Teams will only be responsible for expenses related to transfers, food, and logistics. “Compared to the past, the cost of the 69F experience will be significantly more convenient. This package aims to increase participation from sailors looking to fly over water and create more competitive regattas. Those committing to all circuit stages will enjoy unlimited training sessions starting in April. Our shore team will be operational between Torbole and Malcesine to assist with boat reservations,” explains Daniele ‘Dede’ De Luca, Chief Sailing Officer of 69F Sailing.
The 69F platform has proven effective at preparing sailors to transition to more complex foiling activities, making the formula appealing to yacht clubs and National Federations.
