Classic looking 127 foot Atalante comes out of the shed

True superyachts continue to come out of boatbuilding firms around the world. Here is the latest from the Claasen Shipyards and Hoek Designs.

Ready for racing
Atalante is the largest in Claasen's 'Truly classic' range to date and built in accordance with MCA LY2 regulations. Combined with a design for performance, she will compete in the Superyacht Cup and Spirit of Tradition regattas as well as being enjoyed privately.

The next stage of the project is to step the mast and add the rigging. Interior includes both a private owner’s cockpit aft and a guest cockpit and deckhouse amidships, an instantly recognisable Hoek Design feature.

The Claasenbuilders are putting the finishing touches below decks to a classic interior with raised and fielded panelling, white painted panels above wainscot level and a range of other classic details. The combination of fine materials and finish is intended to create a serene ambiance for owner and crew alike.

The owner’s representative on this prestigious project is Nigel Ingram from MCM.
