The Property Industry Foundation, better known as PIF, raises money for homeless kids. Every night across Australia an estimated 44,000 kids are homeless. That means children living on the streets. Over the last 5 years PIF has raised over $6,500,000, which has been invested in the serious and persistent problem of youth homelessness.
PIF will run their annual sailing regattas in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and the Sydney event on April 3, to be run from the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, will have a French Riviera theme. Bonjour will be alive on the lips of over 1,200 participants.
Mariner Boating Holidays have a yacht rally planned for the French Riviera in June, where you can experience the real thing. The rally runs between Toulon and Monaco from June 13 – 26, and Mariner has donated free passage for two people, worth over $10,000, to be raffled by PIF to raise funds for the kids. Tickets are $100 each and there is a strict limit on the number of tickets on offer so the odds are pretty good.
Sailing the French Riviera is the only way to experience real authenticity on this the coast of all coasts but you don’t need to be a sailor or have your own crew to enjoy that experience. You simply book onto the rally as a single, couple or a complete crew, with or without experience.
You will experience places like the iles Porquerolles, the famous restaurant Club 55 on the Baie de Pampelonne near St. Tropez, Cannes and its’ nearby islands, VilleFranche-sur-mere on the way to Monaco where your adventure on the sea will end.
If you buy a ticket in the raffle but you don’t win, we’ll take the cost of your donation off the price for the trip if you decide to go anyway.
The prize also includes a $3,000 travel voucher and two nights in a luxurious apartment in Antibe where you may reflect quietly on your sea-going experience; or not as the case may be.
