Sydney Marine Brokerage will have three significant yachts on display at Sail Expo 2026 held at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club in Sydney on 17 and 18 October, including two newly arrived Bavaria models making an appearance following the company’s appointment as the new Australian dealer for Bavaria Yachts.
Visitors will be able to inspect the new Bavaria C46 and flagship Bavaria C57, alongside the performance-focused Grand Soleil 40 Performance.
The display gives sailors an opportunity to compare three quite different yachts, ranging from the sporty Grand Soleil 40 Performance through to Bavaria’s spacious C46 cruiser and the 16-metre-plus C57 flagship.
Bavaria C46
Freshly arrived in Australia, the award-winning Bavaria C46 will be on display at Sail Expo.
Designed by Cossutti Yacht Design, the C46 combines substantial interior volume with performance and easy handling. The yacht can be configured with three to five cabins and two to four heads, providing considerable flexibility for different styles of cruising and ownership.
The sail plan includes a self-tacking jib, while an integrated bowsprit caters for a Code 0 or gennaker. The yacht has also been designed to be manageable either single-handed or with a crew.
The Bavaria C46 was named European Yacht of the Year 2024.
