Five years after the hugely successful 2021 Finn World Masters, the Finn fleet will return to the Mar Menor, in Murcia, Spain, this October for the 2026 Finn European Masters. Entry is open and the Notice of Race is published on the event site.

The 2026 Finn European Masters, taking place from 16-23 October, is organised by the Murcia Sailing Federation at the Centro de Tecnificación Deportiva in Los Alcázares, an idyllic location for sailing and for enjoying an autumn sailing event in great company.
In 2021, amidst the challenges of the pandemic, local organisers put on a spectacular show both on and off the water, showcasing amazing hospitality, after-race socials, and an incredible mid-week dinner that fostered an atmosphere of celebration, respect, and fun during a global crisis. At that time, 108 sailors from 20 nations participated, but in 2026, more than double that number is expected.
The Finn European Masters is held only occasionally when one of the class world championships is outside Europe. With both the Finn God Cup and Finn World Masters scheduled in Brisbane, Australia, this represents the second major Finn championship in Europe this year and is anticipated to be very popular.
The event will follow the standard format for the Finn World Masters with eight races scheduled over five days.
