SailGP is inviting fans worldwide to vote for the season’s unforgettable moments as the voting for the 2025 SailGP Fan Awards is now open. The awards celebrate remarkable achievements during an exceptionally competitive season that has showcased record-breaking speeds and thrilling finishes.
The BONDS Flying Roos have emerged as top contenders, overcoming various challenges throughout the season. Fans can support Tom Slingsby’s team across several award categories including Most Improved Team and Most Valuable Athlete.

Winners will be announced leading up to the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix on 29–30 November, concluding a thrilling 12-race season where three national teams will contend for the coveted Rolex SailGP Championship trophy and a top prize of US $2 million.
The awards include five categories:
- SailGP’s Most Improved – Recognising the team that has made significant progress.
- SailGP Fan Moment – Honouring the most unforgettable moments voted on by fans.
- SailGP Powerhouse Award – Recognising an athlete who has been a dominant force throughout the season.
- SailGP’s Most Valuable Athlete – Awarded to the standout athlete whose performance defined the year.
- 2025 F50 Dream Team – Fans select their ideal all-star crew for the season.
Voting for the awards will close on Friday, November 14 at 6PM EST and can be accessed here.
Following the final races in Abu Dhabi, the three leading teams will compete for the championship title, with the Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team currently leading the standings, followed by the Black Foils and the BONDS Flying Roos.
