The beautiful shores of Costa Teguise, Lanzarote, saw lots of action on Day One of competition for the GWA Wingfoil World Championships. The full elimination was completed for the women, where Paula Novotna stormed her way to victory. Round 1 was completed for the men in optimal conditions.
