Raise a sail and a glass to Liberté, Égalité and Fraternité at the Queensland French Yacht Owners Association Inc second 2023 Bastille Regatta on Saturday July 8th and Sunday July 9th supported by the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.
On July 14, 1789, Parisian hordes stormed the Bastille prison, signalling the beginning of the French Revolution. It’s become a national holiday in France, celebrating the formation of the French republic.
In Queensland it’s a great excuse for French boat owners and crew to partake in racing fabulous French yachts in beautiful Moreton Bay. Join us for a relaxed and social sailing celebration of all things French.
Open to all French designed or built monohulls, event activities include:
- 2 x passage races
- 2 Divisions: Cruising Spinnaker and Performance
- Socials and Sausage Sizzle both days
