The luxurious way to race the Hobart – watch the Moody 54DS video

Team Windcraft sailed the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race in style this year.

The crew on board the Moody 54DS enjoyed gourmet food with fine wine every night, panoramic views cocooned in the cockpit and a thrilling race up the Derwent against Hanse 495 Takani.

Peter Hrones who skippered the Moody said “the trip across Bass Strait was fabulous. The wind was NE-NW and around 30-35 knots. We put up the 215m² furling top-down G2 gennaker and under that a full main, we averaged 11-12 knots all the way. The Moody felt like a Range Rover with air shocks as it went over the waves.”

Two more Moody 54DS have been ordered by Team Windcraft since Christmas making a total of five sold downunder.
