🌊 DAY 3 RECAP – 2025 29er World Championships | Porto 🇵🇹
After a delayed start, Porto delivered on Day 3! With a big swell and light breeze early on, racing was slow to begin ⏱️— but when the sea breeze kicked in around 13:30, it turned into a spectacular afternoon of 29er racing 🙌
📍 Highlights from the Day:
🚩 4 races completed for all fleets (Yellow, Blue, Red, Green)
🌬️ Breeze built steadily – each race windier than the last
👀 Spectators watched from the harbour wall with the stunning Porto skyline behind
🏆 Top Performers:
🇭🇺 Hungary’s Soma Kis-Szölgyémi & András Juhász held onto the overall lead after a strong day in Yellow fleet (3-2-1-4)
🇳🇴 Norway’s Nicklas Holt & Philip Forslund dominated Blue fleet (2-2-1-1) and sit 2nd overall
🇮🇹 Montesano & Coslovich continue their consistent run in Red fleet
🇦🇷 Riesgo & Díaz Tamayo take a bullet in Green fleet – now top mixed team and 7th overall
👭 🇮🇹 Marchesini & Finato leading the all-female and U17 categories

Final series starts tomorrow! Top 50 boats head to Gold Fleet while the rest split into Silver, Bronze & Emerald. The battle for the world title heats up 🔥
