New generation of EPIRBs
Marine safety product specialist RFD has introduced a new-generation 406 MHz EPIRB onto the Australian market that features a world-first digital display screen and dual-GPS technology.
The new GlobalFix iPro EPIRB is a breakthrough safety beacon that provides a suite of critical operating information to the user and improves GPS data transfer for improved rescue response times.
The digital display screen allows the user to view all of the beacon's operational activities and displays GPS latitude and longitude coordinates plus providing usage tips, transmission bursts and battery levels.
The 406MHz GlobalFix iPro EPIRB has also made activating and self-testing a straightforward exercise.
Cat 1 costs $2,200 and cat two $1,859.
