Fountaine Pajot unveils the FP51

Fountaine Pajot has announced the launch of the FP51, representing the evolution of its proven 50-foot platform and building on the success of the Aura 51. Integrating select design refinements and updates now seen across Fountaine Pajot’s new-generation sailing range, the FP51 retains core DNA that made its predecessor a benchmark in its class, while introducing targeted improvements focused on comfort, usability and long-term cruising enjoyment.

Externally, the FP51 features cleaner lines, an optimised helm station and improved deck ergonomics, enhancing both sailing performance and ease of handling. Subtle design refinements contribute to improved flow between living spaces while maintaining balanced proportions and seaworthiness for which the range is known.

Inside, the FP51 continues Fountaine Pajot’s focus on light-filled interiors and practical layouts, with upgraded finishes and refined detailing creating a welcoming and contemporary onboard environment. Multiple layout configurations will be available, catering to private owners and charter applications alike, reinforcing the FP51’s versatility within the competitive 50-foot sailing catamaran segment.

This evolutionary model is designed to meet the evolving expectations of today’s owners, with increased attention given to energy efficiency, onboard autonomy and sustainable cruising solutions, aligning with Fountaine Pajot’s ongoing commitment to responsible yacht building.

In the Asia Pacific region, Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans are represented by The Yacht Sales Co., supporting the brand across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

Greg Boller, General Manager – Fountaine Pajot Catamarans at The Yacht Sales Co., welcomed the introduction of the FP51 as a timely and important addition to the range.

The FP51 builds on a platform that has already proven itself globally, while introducing meaningful refinements that reflect how owners are using their boats today,” Boller said.
It offers an excellent balance of performance, liveability and flexibility, which we know resonates strongly with buyers across our region. The FP51 is very much in step with the expectations of modern cruising sailors.

Special Opportunity – FP51 (May 2026)

Alongside the model’s announcement, The Yacht Sales Co. has confirmed a limited opportunity for buyers seeking delivery of a new Fountaine Pajot FP51 in 2026. An ex-factory build slot is currently available with a May 2026 delivery, offering owners the flexibility to take handover in La Rochelle, France, or alternatively discuss shipping and local handover arrangements.

This timing is ideally suited for owners planning to commission their yacht in Europe and enjoy the 2026 Mediterranean season, before cruising further afield.
