Rumble in the Reach returns to Fremantle in 2027
EAST FREMANTLE, WA – East Fremantle Yacht Club (EFYC) has announced that Rumble in the Reach will return on Saturday, 16 January 2027, bringing world-class sailing action back to the iconic waters of the Swan River and Fremantle Reach.
Now firmly established as one of Western Australia’s premier sailing events, Rumble in the Reach delivers a thrilling day of racing that combines elite competition with a spectacular experience for sailors and spectators alike. With live broadcasting, on-water commentary, professional photography and a vibrant atmosphere at EFYC, the event attracts competitors and crowds from across the state and beyond.

“This event has grown into something truly special for our club, our members and the broader WA sailing community, and we can’t wait to put on another unforgettable day on the water.”
The 2027 edition will once again feature live streaming and expert commentary, giving sailing fans every opportunity to follow the action whether they’re trackside or tuning in from home.
