The 62nd Australian National Championship is set to take place at McCrae Yacht Club in Victoria, offering 6 exciting days filled with racing and festivities. Registration is now open, with all details available in the Notice of Race on the event’s official website.
As the Christmas and New Year period approaches, it’s important to note that accommodation in McCrae will be in high demand. To assist, McCrae Yacht Club has reserved 10 camping sites. Interested participants should complete a camping expression of interest form, as spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The campsites are located along the beach foreshore and just a short 5-minute walk from the club. The camping period is from 26th December to 4th January, with a cost of around $65 per site per night. Please note that the sites are unpowered, and generators and dogs are not permitted.
Participants without a crew, skipper, or boat are encouraged to reach out to the Committee for assistance in finding a ride. Those with unused boats are also welcome to get in touch to help ensure all interested sailors can participate.
Further details, including registration links and the Notice of Race, can be accessed through the official website.
