Australia’s brightest young sailing talent are set to represent the nation when they take to the water at the 2025 Youth Sailing World Championships (YSWC) in Vilamoura, Portugal from 12–20 December. The YSWC will offer the selected sailors the opportunity to create lifelong friendships and memories as they continue their development at this important international event.
This year’s Australian representatives will be self-funding their attendance and are looking for your support to help them compete at the event. There are significant costs attached to attending, which can include the cost of travel, equipment, accommodation, coaching, logistics, entry fees, support team and uniform among them.
Australian Sailing has set up a Fundraising Project page on the Australian Sports Foundation website, where the sailing community can support the team by making a tax-deductible donation which will contribute directly to the team’s attendance. On completion of the contribution form you will be emailed a tax receipt to use on your upcoming tax return.
All donations received through this project will be pooled and distributed equally across the total team costs by Australian Sailing, helping to reduce the overall contribution required by each team member.
