New Davidson 69 for Pendragon Team

Members of he Pendragon Sailing Team from North America recently flew to New Zealand for the launching of Pendragon VI, a new Davidson 69. Designer Laurie Davidson worked alongside a design team from Dibley Marine, an NZ-based naval architecture firm. It's reported that Dibley Marine used a number of design tools for this project including Maxsurf, which is a powerful three dimensional surface modelling program; and WinDesign, a yacht performance prediction program (VPP) which allows the team to evaluate and analyze a yachts performance while still in the design stages.
