The 52 SUPER SERIES is enhancing its racing calendar for 2026 by introducing two midseason regattas in Lanzarote, aiming to deliver thrilling racing experiences and a unique atmosphere ashore. This decision reflects the Canary Islands’ reputation for consistent winds and reliable conditions, ideal for top-tier sailing events.
Lanzarote has invested in robust marine infrastructure to accommodate the growing demands of leisure and competitive sailing. The back-to-back regattas will allow owners and crews more time at home during the summer, facilitated by the slightly longer shipping time.
This will be the inaugural visit of the 52 SUPER SERIES to Lanzarote, while the rest of the 2026 season will also include established venues. The season kicks off in Puerto Portals, Mallorca, followed by the Rolex TP52 World Championship in Sardinia, and concludes in Valencia, where the previous season ended dramatically.
Event Details:
May 4th – 9th: Puerto Portals (Mallorca, Spain) – Known for its reliable breezes and comfortable temperatures, setting a relaxed atmosphere post-racing.
