Last weekend, the Wangi RSL Amateur Sailing Club hosted the 2026 NSW Hobie Cat State Championships on the waters of Lake Macquarie.
Fleet-wise, the turnout for the titled events of 14 States and 16/18 Women & Youth States, compounded by the Rookie & Family categories, was excellent. The stats:

- 8 x sailors in which weight division (9 x Cruise Controllers)
