WRAY becomes Beneteau Lagoon specialist

Whitsunday Rent A Yacht (WRAY)  now has the largest contingent of luxury Beneteau Lagoon vessels in the Whitsundays following its launch of two prestigious new craft.

The newly launched vessels are Chantilly, a $750,000 deluxe owners' version Beneteau Lagoon 400 catamaran and Summer Breeze, a $200,000 Beneteau Oceanis 34 elite yacht.

Chantilly is the fifth Lagoon to join the WRAY fleet which now has more than 30 vessels available for charter.

"The Beneteau Lagoon brand is world-renowned for providing the ideal chartering vessel, primarily because of layout. They are spacious, comfortable and equipped with all the comforts of home," WRAY marketing manager, Stacey Kruger said.

"Having an owner's version of the magnificent Lagoon 400 is quite a coup and a very special addition to our fleet.

"It's the first Beneteau Lagoon 400 owner's version in the fleet and takes elite accommodation to a whole new level.

"Chantilly features a stateroom with separate ensuite in addition to the two spacious double cabins and ensuites offered in the standard version. The stateroom can be sealed off for privacy and provides office space if required," Ms Kruger said.

With spacious accommodation for six passengers, the Beneteau Lagoon 400 is considered the entertainer's choice. It has a combined galley and saloon as well as an alfresco dining area on the aft deck, the latest in entertainment equipment and is finished for maximum comfort, including air-conditioning.

Ms Kruger said the Beneteau Oceanis 34 had arrived at WRAY's Whitsundays base directly from its manufacturer in France.

"The Oceanis - with the capacity to accommodate four passengers in comfort - is perfect for couples wanting a romantic escape. It's sleek, easy to navigate, packed with modern features and, best of all, intimate," she said.

Ms Kruger said WRAY continued to investigate new opportunities to expand its fleet, concentrating on the safe, reliable and luxury brands its charterers knew and trusted.

Charter rates on the Beneteau Lagoon 400 range from $1,100 per night in low season to $1,500 in high season. The Beneteau Oceanis is $550 per night in low season and $710 in high season. Both are now available for charter.
