The latest from the design team at Warwick Yacht Design is now building with Phil Salthouse of Aquamagic Yachts Ltd at Silverdale, Auckland.
The first 2 yachts now building are well advanced with the first yacht due for a March 2012 launching.
With a tall 3 spreader Hall Spars rig in carbon a furling boom is hydraulically activated and a Reckmann hydraulic furler below deck quickly stows the headsails.
A single part mainsheet is also controlled by a hydraulic reef winch activated from the twin wheeled consoles.
The streamlined coachroof affords side coaming protection to a generous symmetrical seating arrangement in the cockpit.
The 3.4m dinghy is stowed on patent overcentre davits integrated with the hydraulic stern door. A very neat arrangement.
The general arrangement consists of 3 double cabins aft and 2 cabins forward with a deckhouse saloon with eye level port vision sitting or standing and a compact lower galley to port and bar and refrigeration to starboard.
A high sail area to displacement ratio ensures the new Warwick 75 will be an excellent performer on all points of sail and a 240Hp Yanmar will produce 10.5 knots under power.
