Sailing holiday packages for Magnetic Island Race Week

With Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week just around the corner and Queensland’s Season of Sailing serving up some hot holiday deals, it’s the perfect time to plan a sailing adventure to tropical Townsville.

One of Queensland’s most stunning islands will be buzzing with excitement from September 3 to 7 with the fourth annual Sunferries Magnetic Island Race. Be part of the action on the Sunferries’ spectator boat, enjoy the festivities of the exciting shoreline program or embark on your own on-water adventure with a Season of Sailing holiday package.

Queensland’s Season of Sailing is offering a range of stay and sail packages, day cruise options and charter boat holidays which are available leading up to, and during, Magnetic Island Race Week, and through to the summer months.

Experience the serenity of sailing the crystal clear waters around Magnetic Island and the secluded islands of the Palms Group, discover World Heritage-listed Magnetic Island and its 23 picturesque beaches on a day cruise or jump off a tall ship and snorkel fringing coral reefs. For $1050 per couple, you can stay three nights in a deluxe room on beautiful Nelly Bay (including breakfast) and enjoy a magical day sailing around Magnetic Island on a beautiful 62 foot tall ship.
