New to Australia, the Magellan eXplorist 310 provides novice users and outdoor enthusiasts a high quality device with essential tools to help keep them safe when they are enjoying outdoor activities.

Carrying all the features as the eXplorist GC (navigational tools, Smart Arrow, SiREFstarIII GPS chipset, trip summary, paperless geocaching, and much more), the eXplorist 310 also comes with a premium World Edition map that has 2D and 3D viewing angles and shows shaded relief backgrounds, water features, urban and rural land use, a complete road network of Australia, United States, Canada and Western Europe, major roads throughout the rest of the world, and other information features.

The waterproof eXplorist 310 also comes preloaded with the Hunt and Fish Calendar and Sun and Moon Calendar. An Area Calculation feature is said to allow you to use the device to plot out the parameters of a given area to calculate its size.

The eXplorist 310 is compatible with Summit Series Australia Discovery Topographic maps and allows users to stores 1,000 waypoints, 50 routes, and 50 tracks.
