First Ker 46 to go to South Afica

The first Ker 46 is well underway at the McConaghy Boats factory in China. Headed for South Africa in mid August, it is nearly 3 months through its 4 month build.

Utilising new advancements in fluid dynamics and composite design, Ker Design has fully optimisted this all carbon structure to be competive under IRC and ORCi racing. Following on from the success of the McConaghy built Ker 40 fleet and also the Ker 43 Tonnerre, the new Ker 46 will have balanced performance, ensuring a competitive edge in mixed fleets across a wide range of conditions and venues.
