Dickson Marine launch the new D8 8m performance trailerable
The first D8 8metre trailer yacht was launched in February in New Zealand. The Craig Loomes designed yacht comes with a retractable keel and is easily handled by two people. During initial trials the D8 lived up to expectations and performed well at club level.
A second yacht will handed over to owners in around six weeks with a third on the brink of being ordered. Recent years has seen a demise the number of trailer yachts being built and it is hoped that the new D8 will revive interest in the trailer yacht market place.
