Marine Decking Solutions based in Coolum Beach in Queensland is the Australian distributor for Dek-King, a PVC boat decking product manufactured by British company Wilks.
The synthetic teak deck has a textured non-slip surface that is said to be easy to maintain.
“We’re very pleased to be working with Wilks, who are extremely experienced in our industry. Given that Dek-King is low maintenance, recyclable, easy to fit and looks like the real thing, we’re sure this product will be really well received throughout the country,” said David Brundson of Marine Decking Solutions.
All the PVC waste from Dek-King is saved, granulated, re-extruded and used for Wilks’ range of traditional, wood effect, fendering products.
For the first time, purchasers of Dek-King will be able to choose from a new range of colours including beige which is said to help reduce the decks surface temperature, making it a very valuable feature in hot climates.
