Walkabout Lace Water Moc

HARKEN

All Harken shoes feature a unique, full-length, nine-point drainage system which drains water away from the foot through a series of internal channels in the sole. The one-way system prevents water and debris from re-entering the shoe through the drainage ports.

Vortex

Among the many features of this shoe, which comes in men’s and women’s versions, are the three 360-degree radial traction zones beneath each of the three main pressure points, which combined with a special rubber compound gives your foot independent traction on the deck. Escape channels push water out through the exit rim of the sole, providing additional drainage. SPERRY

In 1935, Paul Sperry watched his cocker spaniel, Prince, run across the ice on a winter’s day in Connecticut. Amazed at his dog’s ability to maintain traction on the slippery surface, he turned over Prince’s paw and observed hundreds of tiny cracks and cuts going in all directions. These wave-like grooves became the inspiration for Sperry’s patent, called Razor-Siping, which he used to maximise the traction and performance of the original Sperry Top-Sider, improved on but still in use today.

Cabo Sport

Hand-sewn using stain- and water-resistant leather, the Cabo Sport also features air-mesh upper panels for cool, breathable comfort. The compression-moulded midsole gives excellent shock-absorption while the non-marking outsole has Wave-Siping sole pattern for excellent wet and dry traction.
