ARC 2011 : Lagoon catamarans among the winners

Out of the 30 multihull entries at the ARC 2011, 12 were Lagoons: a Lagoon 400, several
380s, 420s & 421s, but also two 440s, three 560s and one 620, the Lagoon flagship

On corrected time, the Lagoon 560 Blue Ocean wins the multihulls division, followed
by One Dream, a Lagoon 440 (2nd). Voahangy, another Lagoon 560 finishes 4th ,while
Elektra I, a Lagoon 440, ranks 6th.

On elapsed time, Blue Ocean finishes 3rd behind a Gunboat 66 and a Barreau 71.
Congratulations to the Polish, Hungarian, Australian and Canadian crews who superbly
demonstrated the speed potential of their cruising boats against « performance »
catamarans.
