Yesterday it was reported that doctors had been able to reduce the medication levels that were keeping Tess in the induced coma.

Overnight her doctors made further progress and were able to pull right back the medication that had been controlling the coma with Tess reacting very positively.

Tess is still on a respirator but now close to being able to breathe on her own and is continually trying to breathe by herself which is a seen as a positive sign.

Tess has begun responding to her family’s voices and is displaying basic motor skills. Her condition has been revised from critical to serious but stable.

The next 48 hours are very important as Tess’ doctors will be able to determine what level of rehabilitation is required.

Tess’ family is keeping strong and remain positive about the next 48 hours.
