Windana 2010 Sailing Cup

The 2010 WINDANA SAILING CUP is your chance to set sail. Event Patron, Chief Judge Michael Rozenes, invites you to experience the exhilaration and challenge of yacht racing in an event facilitated by the Sandringham Yacht Club.

HELD ON SUNDAY MARCH 21 2010

Join us for a day on the bay when our fleet of six identical Beneteau yachts, each crewed by a qualified Yachting Australia instructor/skipper and five experienced or novice sailors will race for glory.

Highlights of the event include race training, gourmet BBQ lunch, a two hour race and the opportunity for friends and family to cheer you on as Deck Guests.

This is your opportunity to get out, get active, be adventurous and contribute to your local community.

Your participation in the Windana Sailing Cup, as a crew member, or a guest, will help us to purchase equipment such as bicycles and camping equipment.

Our residents will gain the opportunity to participate in a range of enjoyable activities that promote team building and community spirit, self confidence and a deep appreciation of nature and the environment.

Deck Guests will enjoy watching the sailing from the club deck from 2.30 pm.
Canapes, house wine, beer and soft drinks will be served to Deck Guests during the afternoon.
